I wonder how many other people woke up January 2nd only to realize their pants were just a wee bit snug. I know I did. That same morning I recieved an email from a trainer I see now and then at NYSC, Stephanie Martin. She wanted to know how I did with the holidays. OH BOY!!! Do I confess?
I told her the truth and told her I needed to come in and see her because I was ready to get back on track. The next morning I went to work out with Stephanie. I discussed my terrible eating habits over the break (full confession- even the night before when I knew I was going to have to get back on track I ran out for some delicious chicken wings and ate a few cookies!). She asked if I had been to the gym during the break, and I admitted "No".
I worked out with Stephanie in which I felt myself moving MUCH slower than before the holidays. It was tough. But the next day I woke up a "good sore." Now it was time to sort through the junk in my house. So I purged some junk and went to the food store. I stocked up on "healthy foods", including fish, salad, and fruits.
